Born in 1967, ELAW has been into music since he was 5yrs old. A native of Shreveport, LA, he loves all styles of music. He graduated from Caddo Parish Magnet High School in 1985 and later got his B.S. Degree in Finance when he graduated college at Louisiana Tech University in 1989. He is a street DJ that got into radio in 1994 doing overnights. Later was offered a job at KMJJ 100.1 in 1995. A true entrepreneur, he owns a rental hall, does independent video production for local music groups, DJ's parties, and has his own local TV show called PHAT TRAXX. His favorite artist of all time is The Godfather of Soul, James Brown. ELAW considers himself a Retro-DJ. He says, "I'm stuck in the 1970's on a personal level, but I can DJ any type of party from Hip-Hop to Gangsta Rap to Jazz to Counrty, etc." ELAW still has a beeper! 4REAL! Favorite phrase: "Right On! Right On!!"
