SA 6p-10p – “Josey Wellz”

Josey Wellz, known to The City as “The Mayor”.  Was born and raised in Shreveport, La., and started rapping at an early age and through the years made a name for himself. After dropping his first C.D, He began interning at KBTT, doing board work for “The Russ Parr Morning and other shows.  He was eventually given a weekly night show called “The 12 Play After Dark”, which became the highest rated day part! He then moved to KMJJ, producing “Big Boy’s Neighborhood”, and also serving as a mix show co-host for “The Saturday Night Jumpoff” Saturday nights, also giving local artist an opportunity to be heard. He has released a full length album, and 7 mix C.D.s w and is currently completing his 2nd studio album “The Mayor” . He has performed and opened up for Lil Wayne, Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, B.G., Eightball & MJG, C-Bo, Juvenile, Pastor Troy, Mr. Pookie and Mr. Lucci, Too Short, just to name a few.
