Lil Durk has been acquitted in a federal murder-for-hire case connected to a 2022 shooting in Los Angeles. After several days of deliberations, a jury found the rapper not guilty of charges that included conspiracy, murder for hire, and stalking resulting in death.
During the trial, federal prosecutors argued that Durk was involved in a plan to target rapper Quando Rondo in retaliation for the 2020 killing of King Von, a close friend and collaborator of Durk. The 2022 shooting left Rondo unharmed, but his cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, also known as Lul Pab, was killed. Durk’s defense denied that he organized or directed the attack.
Two co-defendants were convicted on stalking-related charges while being acquitted of murder-for-hire counts.
The verdict resolves one major federal case for Durk, but his legal situation is not over. He remains in federal custody while facing a separate case involving racketeering and firearms charges, with another trial scheduled for October 2026.
